FAQ
-
Is Major Metabolic Method a low calorie diet?NO, in fact many of our patients are surprised at the amount of food they need to eat in order to succeed. MMM is based on hormone correction NOT caloric restriction.
-
How do you determine what supplements are needed?Supplementation is based on blood work results, analysis of dietary habits and to assist in meeting your personal goals.
-
How much weight should I expect to lose per week?Of course, it depends on the individual but 1-2 pounds per week is pretty normal. More importantly though is that the weight loss is FAT not muscle. It is a focus of MMM to preserve or gain muscle while reducing adipose tissue.
-
What are some of the other benefits of MMM other than weight loss?Almost to the person people comment on how good they feel and how much energy they have. We have had other health improvements from eliminating migraine headache to fixing esophageal reflux.

What is the best way to work out for weight loss? That all depends on where you're starting. Sometimes short walks are all a person can handle, that’s the start. Both aerobic exercise (i.e. running, biking) and anaerobic training (weight lifting, HIIT) have a benefit. It depends again on what hormones we are trying to affect.
